Crisp, Woody, Meaty sound with plenty of Honk in the middle. Bluesy, Jangly clean tones and Thick Violin like tones when over driven. These PAFs are hand wound with a unique layered winding pattern (scatter-wound). In my opinion these are the some of the best PAF Humbuckers for the money.
"T-Top Clones" faithful recreation of those Humbucker pickups that were found in the late 70's and 80's LP's. Alnico 5 magnets, unpotted (no wax) correct baseplates with pat # decals and bobbins stamped with "T" part of my "Kalamazoo" series. The originals I have run across have had DC readings around 7.7K both Neck and Bridge. I also offered an balanced set 7.4K neck and 7.7K bridge. Choose options for color of bobbins, covers and aging. Wax potting available on request.
